We make the process fun and the product full of personality! We are here to make school portrait day the best day, not only for the kids, but for your staff and parents as well. Instead of asking kids to sit still and “say cheese,” we intentionally create space for kids to be exactly who they are. Their giggles and unique expressions turn into timeless portraits treasured by parents.

Why I don’t ask kids to smile or “say cheese.”
Growing up, I was the nervous kid, the “shy” kid...the one who needed extra time to warm up to situations and people. And every time I photograph kids, I think about that.
As a school photographer, my hope is that every kid I photograph has fun, but more than that, I want them to feel safe. Safe to be themselves, safe to be silly or serious, safe to take extra time if that’s what they need.
I hardly ever ask kids to smile, because asking them to “sit still and smile” doesn’t give them a chance to feel safe and seen. But chatting about their favorite colors and animals, throwing a ball back and forth, and letting them give high fives to my dinosaur stuffie… that gives them space to have fun, not worry about the camera, and just be themselves…and in the midst of all that, I get to capture genuine images, full of personality, for parents to cherish for a lifetime.
Personality Pop Ups
A couple of times per year, we partner with a local business to host Portrait Pop Up. This is a day full of 5 minute personality photo sessions for kids that are FUN! It may seem like a short photography time, but those 5 minutes keep photos stress free!
And you, as the parent or grandparent, get timeless, genuine photos full of personality that you’ll want to hang in your home.

Family Pictures
I can promise you one thing during your photo time - I do my best to keep it fun! Your kids won't need to sit still for long, we will spend the time chatting, being silly, and playing to bring out those natural smiles and giggles.
Family sessions are short and sweet and done in a studio with white walls so the focus is completely on your family being together.
